FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What is a Litigation Coordinator?
A Litigation Coordinator is a support service that helps you manage the practical side of your legal case. We organise your documents, clarify communication, and help you work more effectively with your solicitors, without providing legal advice.
2. Do you provide legal advice?
No. We do not give legal advice, comment on strategy, or advise on outcomes. That remains entirely the role of your solicitor or barrister. Our role is to support you so your legal team can work more efficiently.
3. How can you reduce my legal costs?

You will find that the fees you pay us are more than offset by the savings in your legal costs. By providing your solicitor with clear, structured, and complete information from the outset, we significantly reduce the time they need to spend on administrative tasks, follow ups, and clarification. In most cases, this leads to a reduction in legal fees that exceeds what you have paid us.

For clarity, the cost of our service is broadly equivalent to just 2 to 3 hours of a partner solicitor, or 4 to 6 hours of a junior member of a law firm. For that same cost, you receive a full month of dedicated support from a senior litigation coordinator with 25 years of experience dealing with solicitors and the wider legal system.

However, the benefit is not just financial. Presenting your case in a well organised and coherent manner also strengthens your position, enabling your solicitor to focus on strategy and legal arguments rather than paperwork. This can materially improve your prospects of achieving a positive outcome.

4. Who do you work with?

We work with both:

  • Individuals involved in serious civil or criminal litigation
  • Business owners and directors facing disputes, investigations, or high-value claims

We also work alongside law firms who refer clients to us.

5. When should I engage a Litigation Coordinator?
The earlier, the better. Getting involved at the start helps keep your case organised from day one. However, we can step in at any stage, especially if things feel unclear, disorganised, or overwhelming.
6. Will you communicate with my solicitor?
Yes, but only in a supportive capacity. We work alongside your legal team and ensure communication is clear and efficient. Any matters involving legal advice or strategy are always directed back to your solicitor.
7. Can you represent me or attend court?
No. We do not represent clients, attend hearings, or engage with the opposing side. Our role is strictly behind the scenes, supporting you in managing your case effectively.
8. How do you help me understand what my lawyer is saying?
We translate legal correspondence into plain English, helping you understand what has been said, what it means for your case, and what is expected from you next. This ensures you stay informed and in control.
9. Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. All engagements are protected by a legally binding NDA. We are registered with the ICO and fully compliant with UK GDPR. We also hold professional indemnity insurance for additional protection.
10. How does your pricing work?

We offer three flexible models:

  • Hourly rate for ad hoc support
  • Monthly retainer for ongoing cases
  • Flexible retainer that pauses during inactive periods

All pricing is transparent, agreed upfront, and tailored to your case.
